You’ve probably heard of the Suzuki automobile company, but have you heard of the Suzuki Method? It’s an innovative way to teach children how to learn violin.

The Suzuki Method is rooted on the idea that every child has aptitude and that the child can develop and improve this aptitude in an encouraging environment. For instance, it’s somewhat easy for children to master their native language. The idea behind the Suzuki Method is that if a teacher can apply this same natural procedure for teaching other skills (such as learning the way to play an instrument), then the instructor can accomplish his or her objective.
